Real Estate Investment in Nigeria

It is almost unbelievable that 2007 is less than 26hours to go. Sincerely, it looks like it’s just a couple of weeks ago that we celebrated the entrance of this astounding year.

Personally, 2007 started and ended on an upbeat note for me. While doing my regular yearly self assessment for 2007, I realise that it was not a bad year at all. I was able to deliver on most of my performance indices, although there will always be enough room for improvements.

Our company – REALTY POINT LIMITED took a major step forward towards the close of the year. We have been able to establish our products; Prime Assets, Prime Estates – Sack Your Landlord! e.t.c as brands, started off on the World Wide Web frontier via this blog and our other sites (www.sackyourlandlord.com , www.primeestatesng.com, www.nigeriare.com and www.realtypointlimited.com). And a lot more other positive things have taken place.

I have personally made new friends and established more mutually benefiting contacts and networks while strengthening the existing ones. That you are reading this testifies to that and I do like to say a big thank you to YOU. You are part of our success story and will always be cherished now and forever.

I have learned to demand what I want of/from every situation and circumstance. So for me, the question is not what 2008 has or holds in store, but what demands have I made or will I be making of the year.

Let me share a little of what I see in 2008 with you:

• We shall move office to a more spacious environment
• We shall deliver on Prime Estates Phases 1 & 2
• We shall start a minimum of 2 other estate projects
• We shall reposition our real estate publication – PrimeAssets and add a new title to the stable
• Our real estate wealth creation seminars shall hold 4 times in Lagos and at least 2 times outside of Lagos; Abuja and Port-Harcourt to be precise. 
• We shall resume our school of estate programmes reloaded
• We shall float 3 real estate investment clubs
• We shall strengthen our network marketing system
• We shall start our television programme
• We shall host at least 1 International Real Estate exhibition
• I will be more consistent with my articles for other publications
• We shall support good courses and identify with purpose driven charitable programmes. Particularly, the one(s) that’s within our constituency i.e. Real Estate
• Lastly, I promise myself that we shall dam consequences, be more adventurous, creative and daring. s

These are the things I have put in 2008 and I know that by the grace of God which fails not, we shall deliver on these aspirations if we faint not. Keep a date with us.
